Joshua Hodge

Joshua Hodge is an author, educator, and publisher. He is passionate about wild places and beautiful landscapes and encourages people to get outside and seek silence, commune with the Creator, and find meaning within nature. In addition to this “wild” side, he also is committed to preserving the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, a man vital in the establishment of our National Parks. Hodge has several books in print; writes for the Dollywood Insiders blog; and has a children’s Spanish language Youtube Channel with nearly 2 million views.

His literary works are diverse: a mystery novel, memoirs of traveling the National Parks, a Spanish children's book, a photograph collection from appalachia, a look into Theodore Roosevelt during the Holidays...

Originally a Chicago native, Hodge now resides in central Kentucky in the bluegrass region where he teaches in elementary school. During the summer he spends his time traveling the United States and working at Glacier National Park in Montana.
